So balance in life, as in riding a bike, is the key. I have been known to eat a "balanced, health-conscious meal followed by a snickers bar and coke because sometimes granola is just not sweet enough to satisfy. Walking the middle path is not sitting on the fence (which implies wishy-washy-ness). It means that you are moving forward and keeping options option. While I TEND to LEAN to the left, I never want to get so far afield, I cannot view nor appreciate another point of view. Great blog, girl!

The unexamined life. . .

Socrates was either right on or an idiot. How blissfully to go along each day without trying to figure out whether you are wasting your resources or not and whether it matters if you do or not. Or is it better to measure each day against the other and say "did I have a meaningful/impact-filled day today." I don't know, what do you think?
